Not satisfied with taking over a business and running it from afar, the Graham family is hands-on in every operational aspect of their recently acquired business.
Husband and wife team Duncan and Cheryl Graham of Pietermaritzburg recently acquired the Ascot Wedding & Conference Venue from Vernon Niemack, who owns the Ascot Bush Lodge.
The entire family contributes to the business and are actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the conference centre.
The family HAS invested heavily in infrastructure and personnel, through skills development and the employment of 3 additional staff members.
The increased demand in recent months has persuaded the Grahams to build A new 110 square-metre conference venue.
A general revamp has been done on all the venues and LINEN AND décor HAS BEEN REPLACED
The emphasis ON hands-on involvement in the business is not new to the family. " As a family we have a passion for hospitality and service."
